unfit father pushed his children off the balcony

A holidaymaker who pushed his two children from a fourth-floor balcony during a row with his wife may be prosecuted in England after his release from a Greek psychiatric hospital.  A coroner ruled yesterday that Liam Hogan, from Bristol, who was 6 when he died of head injuries in Crete in 2006, was unlawfully killed by his father, John. The coroner, Paul Forrest, over-ruled objections from a lawyer representing Mr Hogan that his state of mind meant that he was not responsible for his actions.

i hate when this happens they always use there state of minds  as a way to get out of the wrong they did.   it dont matter point blank is that he did it and some times they just use it as an excuse even if they knew what they were doing.  so i think that he should of got life and another thing is that he should have never got out from the psychiatric hospital if they knew his conditions were bad!!!

Convicted murderer

The ringleader of a gang that kicked a father to death in front of his family is to appeal against the guilty verdict and life sentence.  Adam Swellings, 19, led a gang of three teenagers in kicking Garry Newlove “like a football” after he had remonstrated with them for damaging his wife’s car.   As his wife and three daughters watched, the 47-year-old was attacked as he lay on the ground, suffering head injuries that he died of two days later.   He was freed on bail on condition he stayed away from Warrington but he never left the town. Instead he met up with accomplices Stephen Sorton and Jordan Cunliffe and began drinking cider and smoking cannabis.

i think that  he should have never got out on bail cause this is similar to the jena 6 and they didnt let him get out on bail.  this is just another example of favortism of whites and how blacks are still not being treated equally.

cab driver awarded the 2007 HERO CABBY award

A Man hailed down a cab, jumped in and ordered it to go! go! go! But the cab driver sinced something strange. He saw a woman with a bloody face and bleeding knees yelling “please stop I’m begging you”!!!  At that point the cab driver jumped out the car locked the doors stop another cab to get help and they called 911.  the police came and arrested the man and treated the woman. they later found out that the man they arrested had a long crime record of sexual assult and he was charged with sexual abuse and other crimes and is waiting for a trial.

i think that man getting into the cab was a blessing and im very happy that he got caught and that the lady is okay.  i also think that the cab driver is very brave for what he did and im glad he reacted in the manner that he did because if he didnt he probably would have got in the mix and he would have ended up getting hurt too.  in the end the cab driver was awarded the 2007 hero cabby award and he deserve it.

Cook accused of spitting on fan’s burger

A fast-food cook and Seattle Seahawks fan has been accused of spitting on a hamburger ordered by a man wearing Pittsburgh Steelers attire. Basically what happened was that the customer made remarks about the seahawks lost to the stealers to one of the employes and when he was brought his food he saw some spit on the burger and he demanded a refund.

i think that the customer had every right to get a refund whether or not they have proof of the incident because  you never know what they’re doing to your food behind closed doors especially since the fact that they just got into an arguement and few minutes later he sees spit on his burger its common since that that employe did it out of his anger. and i personaly think that that is disgusting and unsanitary and anyone who would go that far and spit in some ones food must have serious problems.

40 die in NWest Pakistan suicide bombing

A suicide bomber blew himself up Sunday at a large meeting called by tribal elders pushing for peace in northwestern Pakistan, killing at least 40 people and injuring more than 100.  Alam Khan, a tribesman who attended, said a young man walked up to a group of elders and blew himself up. “It was a huge explosion and left body parts and blood scattered on the ground,” said Ramin Khan, whose left leg and face were wounded.

I dont know what to think of this article. Its so many things going in this world and people are begining to become more crazier every day, but i dont know what would poses some one to want to blow them selves up?!!

Lindsay blames industry for Heath Ledger’s death

Heath Ledger was reported dead on monday morning due to accidently overdosing off of prescription drugs. He died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.  lindsay lohan states that  “this is a prime example of what this industry could do to you”

I think she is referring to the fact that since when his overdose happened he was in the middle of filming his final film the pressure of the industry was one of the main causes for him overdosing.  I can understand where she is coming from cause its been alot of cases where people feel too much pressure and dont know how to control it and they find comfort in drugs and getting high.

On Friday they identified him as a 27 year old male who was a former student there.  According to the  university official his name was Steven Kazmierczak.  he also wounded 15 people on thursdays attack which sent people running to the exit doors.  The shooter had been a graduate student in sociology at Northern Illinois as recently as spring 2007

“There is no note or threat that I know of,” NIU President John Peters said on Friday ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “By all accounts that we can tell right now (he) was a very good student that the professors thought well of.” This just proves that you never know what people are capable of doing and you truly cant judge a book by its cover.
